The groundwork for the revitalisation of this small portion of Parnell started about two to three years ago but, according to locals, its recent boom became audible in the last year, with the hospitality sector fully exploding in the past six months.
Catalysts? Although there is not one developer or business that has donned the role of campaigner for the area, the arrival of architecture firm Fearon Hay and tech darlings Xero and Icehouse have coincided with a flurry of very interesting arrivals. Independent businesses with a creative core and well-curated interiors make this city block a true urban hero.
